The Guyver

Just flicking through some of my pics and found this one of the Guyver. Guess I never got round to posting it when I joined dA... Oh well, here it is now for your viewing pleasure.

For anyone who doesn't know, The Guyver is a seminal anime series from the early 90s (I think), full of violence, blood and superbly overblown combat (lots of monsters getting split from head to toe). A student named Sho finds an alien artifact which binds with his body and enables him to summon organic armor, which he uses to battle the evil Chronos Corporation and its' army of Zoanoids. It's fantastic stuff and highly recommended to all anime-heads. The Guyver was recently remade, but the new version pales next to the original. It was also turned into two absymal live-action movies, which are probably worth viewing for their sheer crapness and wobbly costumes.
